Hi, we’re CompanyCam.

We’re a simple-to-use photo documentation and productivity app for contractors of all commercial and home services industries. Packed with intuitive functionality, CompanyCam facilitates unparalleled communication and accountability across a contractor’s entire business. We’re committed to providing a consumer-grade, game-changing experience that helps our users build trust within their company and with their customers.

But don’t let that corporate description fool you—the people behind our buttoned-up product are laid-back (but hardworking), genuine, and kickass, and you could be one of them!

The Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst on our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team, you'll be at the heart of our financial strategy, helping drive key decisions across the organization. You'll get to flex your modeling muscles by maintaining, building, and enhancing financial models, and you'll be the mastermind behind managing our OpEx plans. You’ll be instrumental in helping build the next evolution of CoCam’s FP&A function and take our financial game to the next level.

What sets this role apart from other similar positions:

  • You’ll get the opportunity to help shape the future of FP&A at CompanyCam - we’ve got some great stuff in place already, but we know we’re still maturing as a Finance function and you’ll get to influence and drive its growth.
  • You’ll dive deep into financial modeling in modern, top-of-the-line software (Pigment), getting your hands dirty building models for every part of the org in your efforts to create predictability, influence strategy, measure financial impacts, expose insights, dial in plans, and analyze risks and opportunities, gaining an intimate understanding of the entire business in the process.
  • You’ll get to work with some of the most talented and driven people out there, and have fun while doing it! We take our work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
  • You’ll be treated like an adult and given autonomy to execute without unnecessary prodding - we dislike micromanagement and focus on delivering results.

In this job you will...

  • Be the go-to financial guru for various departments, offering insights and recommendations that drive smart decision-making and favorable financial results.
  • Own OpEx budgeting and forecasting, from analyzing and approving new expense requests to modeling P&L and cash impacts of vendor agreements.
  • Keep our financials in check by supporting Month-End Close procedures, performing Budget vs. Actuals analyses, and collaborating with Accounting for accurate and timely results.
  • Dive into financial data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, turning insights into actionable recommendations for our senior management.
  • Team up with the FP&A Manager to develop, evaluate, and refine financial models within our cutting-edge FP&A software (Pigment).
  • Prepare financial reports that wow the Board and Executive Management and drive people to action.
  • Work on exciting initiatives and projects that evolve with our business needs. This is your chance to BUILD cool stuff that can impact the entire business.

You must...

  • Show up every day, taking the courage to do the difficult but necessary stuff.
  • Grow up constantly: you're OK working in an environment full of change. You take responsibility, love ownership, learn continuously, and have a growth mindset.
  • Do good by treating your co-workers and customers the way you would like to be treated.
  • Have 2-5 years of relevant Finance experience
  • Have a background in SQL or other relational database systems
  • Posses advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Have great communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information simply
  • Exhibit ownership, taking responsibility for your area of work and taking pride in the accuracy of your output.
  • Posses a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree supplemented with a Finance focus
  • Be technically savvy and hungry to learn the ins and outs of our platform quickly.
  • Reside permanently and currently in Lincoln or Omaha, NE or the surrounding metro area. Sorry, we're not hiring outside the US at this time even if you're willing to work during US time zones.

It'd be nice if you have...

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or related industry
  • Experience with FP&A software (We use Pigment, but Planful, Anaplan or others are great too!)
